Job summary

STAT Recruitment is seeking a FACEM for a leadership role in the Bathurst Emergency Department, NSW. The hospital provides emergency care, inpatient beds, and cancer care services. The role is in charge of ED operations with a daily rate of $3,000 and travel and accommodation provided for key assignments.

Must have ALS Certificate and NSW Working with Children Check, with registrar and senior support on site. NSW Health mandates mandatory training before starting work.

Qualifications

• ALS Certificate is mandatory.
• NSW WWCC clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Emergency Department care as FACEM in charge.
• Oversee clinical governance and patient safety in emergency medicine at the hospital.

Job description

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. With Mount Panorama-Whaluu rising in the distance, its also the home of Australian motor racing and a hotspot for motorsport enthusiasts.

This hospital consists of an emergency department and inpatient beds, as well as community health services. Also located on site is Daffodil Cottage, which provides cancer care services.
