Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network – Whyalla is seeking a Head of Unit for the Emergency Department at Whyalla Hospital. You will provide clinical leadership, governance, and strategic direction for the ED, guiding multidisciplinary teams and supporting system-wide quality and performance initiatives.

You will work with senior clinicians and the Medical Services executive to plan services, improve care quality, and develop the workforce, while maintaining direct clinical duties as

• Medical practitioner with specialist qualifications in Emergency Medicine.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and governance experience.
• Strong communication, mentoring and collaboration across teams.
• Experience in quality improvement, service planning and performance monitoring.
• Ability to lead service development and promote high standards of care.
