Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with emergency or acute care experience to join the rural Emergency Department team at Cessnock Hospital. You will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adults and paediatric patients in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely treatment.

This permanent role offers a 7-day rotating roster, 38 hours per week, and opportunities for professional development.

• Provide clinical leadership and delegate to Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing as appropriate.
• Maintain person-centred care and prioritise under pressure to support patients and families.
