Job summary

Barwon Health in Geelong's Emergency Department is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (Grade 2) to join our fast-paced, high-acuity team.

You will provide patient-centred care, manage acute conditions, document accurately, and collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and allied health staff. Current AHPRA registration and at least 12 months in ED are required; ongoing professional development is supported.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in an Emergency Department.
• Experience in adult and/or paediatric emergency nursing.
• Strong clinical judgement and ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Manage acute and life-threatening conditions in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and allied health staff.
