Qualifications

• Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Extensive and recent emergency nursing skills and experience.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate strong communication, prioritisation and clinical decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with NSW Health policies and procedures.
• Prioritise and coordinate competing clinical demands in a complex environment.
• Escalate clinical concerns to nurse in charge or senior staff when needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold regulatory requirements.
• Promote teamwork, support colleagues and students, and treat patients with dignity and respect.
