HealthX is seeking an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse (ED RN) for short-term NSW travel contracts across multiple Local Health Districts. Earn up to AU$68.49 per hour plus super, penalties and a $1,600 completion bonus, with travel, accommodation and daily living allowances provided.

Contracts are 6–12 weeks with potential extensions, offering opportunities across metropolitan, regional, rural and coastal NSW hospitals.

Qualifikationen

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
• Minimum one year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification and strong resuscitation and triage skills.
• Confidence managing acute presentations and clinical deterioration.
• Australian working rights; short-term contracts with no sponsorship.

About the Role

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across hospitals throughout New South Wales. You will deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care in fast-paced Emergency Departments, working collaboratively with local clinical teams to support patients across a range of emergency and acute presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency and acute nursing care.
• Conduct triage, resuscitation and emergency interventions.

• Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with NSW Health policies and procedures.

• Adapt to different hospital environments, clinical teams and local procedures.

• Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) - Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Young, Tumut and surrounding regional communities.
• Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) - Goulburn, Queanbeyan, Bega, Batemans Bay, Cooma and surrounding communities.
• Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) - Lismore, Grafton, Ballina, Byron Bay and surrounding coastal and rural communities.
• Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) - Newcastle, Tamworth, Armidale, Moree and surrounding communities.
• Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) - Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst, Broken Hill and surrounding regional communities.

What you’ll need
