Job summary
HealthX is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for travel contracts across Far West NSW. You will provide frontline ED care in regional and remote hospital settings, performing triage, resuscitation, cannulation, and medications while supporting multidisciplinary teams.
These 6–12 week placements include fully covered travel and accommodation, competitive hourly pay, and a completion bonus. You’ll gain broad emergency nursing experience across multiple facilities.
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse – Division 1.
- Minimum 1 year recent Emergency Department nursing experience.
- ALS certification with strong resuscitation and triage capability.
- Current working rights in Australia (urgent, non-sponsorship role).
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive emergency and acute nursing care.
- Conduct triage, resuscitation, and emergency interventions.
- Perform cannulation, venepuncture, and medication administration.
- Monitor and respond to clinical deterioration using escalation pathways.
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals.
- Ensure accurate documentation in line with NSW Health protocols.

You’ll conduct triage, resuscitation, and emergency interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best-practice care in fast-paced ED settings.
