SA Health is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the Modbury Hospital Emergency Department. This ongoing, part-time role (28 hours per week) sits within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network, based at Modbury Hospital, SA 5092.

You will work under the direction of Registered Nurses and the ED multidisciplinary team to provide timely, patient-centred care. The position requires registration or eligibility with the NMBA, a current practicing certificate, and the ability to work rotating shifts,

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute or emergency care setting or ability to work in a high-acuity environment.
• Strong clinical communication skills and confidence in escalation frameworks (e.g., ISBAR).
• Commitment to SA Health nursing practice framework and local care standards.
• Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends as part of a part-time roster.

Responsabilités

• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred nursing care within scope of practice in a fast-moving ED.
• Accurate documentation and timely escalation of patient condition changes.
• Collaborate with RNs, medical officers and allied health to support safe patient flow and discharge planning.
• Contribute to a culture of safety, learning and continuous quality improvement within the unit.
