Job summary

The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead the Wesley Emergency Centre. You will be responsible for the overall management of the ward, staffing, and clinical service delivery, while driving patient outcomes and high standards of nursing care.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage budgets, and contribute to ongoing quality initiatives, staff development, and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• Post-registration qualifications in nursing practice and/or people management are highly desirable.
• Proven leadership in emergency or acute care settings is essential.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient advocacy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management of a ward or department, including staffing and clinical service delivery.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and high standards of nursing care.
• Monitor resources, budgets and procurement to meet service objectives and quality initiatives.
• Support continual professional development and performance improvement across the unit.
