Job summary

Approach Consulting Pty in Australia is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join the Engineering team and contribute to embedded software for engine control products, test applications, and user interfaces. You will work across the full software lifecycle, translating requirements into robust software and supporting verification.

This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong C/C++ and embedded systems background who enjoys working close to hardware and solving complex engineering

Qualifications

Degree in software/EC/controls or related field.
Strong embedded software experience and 3+ years in industry.
Proficient in C/C++ and embedded systems.
Experience with CAN Bus, Serial, I2C and SPI.

Responsibilities

Develop, test and release embedded and PC-based software.
Develop software for engine control and power sub-systems.
Translate requirements into software specs and interfaces.
Produce technical documentation and design inputs.
Implement verification and validation processes.
Develop unit, regression and HIL tests.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams.
