Qualifications

• Strong technical background in hardware or firmware engineering with at least 10 years of experience.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural oversight for complex engineering projects.
• Experience in people management, mentoring, and developing technical teams.
• Commercial acumen with involvement in business development, estimations, and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop the capability of a highly senior engineering team.
• Build a strong, collaborative culture and act as the dedicated people leader.
• Act as the technical point of contact, providing architectural guidance for electronics and firmware projects.
• Balance billable workload with a focus on business development, and people management and leadership.
• Support commercial success by contributing to sales, business development, proposals, and estimations.
• Consult directly with clients and business stakeholders on requirements, specifications, and proposals for system design and delivery of embedded solutions.
