Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop Sydney's Embedded Electronics capability across Electronics, Embedded Firmware and Systems Engineering.
• Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement across the capability.
• Manage team utilisation, resource planning and forecasting to support delivery objectives.
• Work with project managers and technical leaders to align resources with project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and governance across new product development programs.
• Guide technical decision‑making, architecture development and design reviews.
• Support delivery teams in managing technical risks and resolving complex engineering challenges.
• Promote engineering best practice across electronics, embedded firmware and systems development.
• Support multidisciplinary product development programs involving electronics, firmware, software, mechanical engineering and industrial design.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation and delivery execution activities.
• Support project delivery performance through effective risk management and resource allocation.
• Assist with proposals, statements of work, engineering estimates and client presentations.
• Support business development activities and strategic growth initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company processes, quality systems and engineering standards.

Your role

You will be responsible for leading and growing Capgemini Engineering's Sydney-based Embedded Electronics capability.

Your profile

• Degree qualification in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
