Job summary

Cricket Tasmania seeks a Senior Physiotherapist to support Tasmania’s elite cricketers across Sheffield Shield, One Day Cup, and Big Bash campaigns. You will lead rehabilitation, manage injuries, and drive return-to-play strategies to keep players available and performing at their best.

You will also lead and develop our Physiotherapy team, establishing standard practices and collaboration across elite programs, covering injury prevention through match-day support.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy with postgraduate sports qualification.
• Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
• Minimum 7 years experience with elite athletes or sporting teams in full-time capacity.

Responsibilities

• Provide elite physiotherapy support to Sheffield Shield and One Day Cup programs.
• Lead rehabilitation across male and female programs during Big Bash campaigns.
• Lead and develop Physiotherapy team to ensure consistent standards.
• Contribute to injury prevention, rehabilitation and return-to-play planning.
