Hudaks Bakery, a small family-owned business in Mildura, is seeking a qualified baker to join their team. They have two retail stores and a strong wholesale operation, producing traditional country Australian bakery items baked in house.

The role requires a baking/pastry qualification with relevant experience; you will be responsible for producing high-quality bread, pastries, cakes and slices, while maintaining efficiency and supervision-free work. Weekend work may be required.

• Have baking/pastry cook qualification and relevant experience in bakery workplaces.
• Produce very high-quality product.
• Be able to work efficiently, and without supervision.
• Be skilled in the production of bread, pastries, cakes and slices.
• Be reliable, mature and responsible.

Responsabilidades

• Bake rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes, croissants, Danish pastry, scones, bars, quiche, tarts, tartlets and other baked items.
• Review production schedules to determine the variety and quantity of goods to be baked.
• Check and assemble raw materials and equipment needed for daily baking activities.
• Weigh, knead, mature, cut, mixing, shaping dough and preparing fillings for pastry.
• Form, load, bake, unload, depan and cool baked items like bread, muffins and pastries.
• Ice, glaze, decorate baked items.
• Determine and monitor baking times and oven temperatures.
• Use, clean and grease baking trays and equipment; operate machines.
• Ensure cleanliness of equipment and area; follow OH&S regulations.
• Examine and report any problems and needs of equipment and supplies.
