Job summary

Mapkon Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Residential Lift Installer to join our installation team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of residential elevators, applying your hands-on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge.

This role offers flexible working arrangements, a supportive culture, and ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience installing residential elevators or willingness to learn
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics and mechanical components
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Install residential lifts to the highest safety standards
• Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the team
• Working on a variety of different products

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Lift Installer or someone that is ready for a new challenge to join our team in Melbourne. As a fulltime member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of residential elevators. This is a hands‑on role that will allow you to apply your technical expertise to make a real difference.

What you'll be doing

• Install residential lifts to the highest safety standards
• Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide exceptional service
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the team
• Working on a variety of different products

What we're looking for

• Electricians are preferred, but not essential
• Proven experience in the installation of residential elevators or a willingness to learn and try something new
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics and or mechanical components
• Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
