SpaceX is seeking a Sourcing Manager for Electronics supporting Starlink product kits. Based in Redmond, WA, you will lead domestic and international supplier relationships, drive cost reduction, and guide design teams on supplier selections. The role emphasizes strong negotiation, NPI involvement, and risk management.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, manage budgets, and optimize supply chain performance for repeated product cycles and new developments.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material or production planning, operations or supply chain management.
• Experience in contract negotiation and cost control.
• Knowledge of BOMs, drawings, and data sheets.
• Procurement of electronic components, PCBs or PCBAs.
• Experience with NPI and mass production.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage supply base (domestic and international) for electronic components across Starlink product kits.
• Collaborate with suppliers to implement sourcing and cost management strategies supporting existing platforms and new product development.
• Forecast demand and place/manage purchase orders based on demand signals.
• Track delivery performance and supplier performance.
• Guide internal engineering teams on recommended suppliers to use.
• Interface with suppliers for RFIs/RFPs/RFQs.
• Monitor industry trends and roadmaps to mitigate supply/demand challenges.
• Drive adoption of low-cost parts and avoid obsolescence.
• Visit supplier facilities to assess capability, financial health, and capacity for awards.
• Conduct supplier analysis including strategy, capacity, market position, and risk.
• Manage costs to align with program budgets.
• Present value propositions to executives on contracts, cost reviews and supply issues.
• Work with supply chain engineers to develop NPIs and production requirements.
• Negotiate contracts to ensure continuity of supply and protect company interests.
