Qualifications

  • Previous experience in operations SMT machines is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment (a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools like tweezers, screwdrivers, and calipers.
  • A basic understanding of electronic components and soldering is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Operating SMT equipment including pick and place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI machines.
  • Accurately placing and inspecting surface mount components (SMDs) onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).
  • Performing quality control checks to ensure components are placed correctly and meet specifications.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Following assembly instructions and adhering to quality standards.
  • Identifying and troubleshooting potential issues on the production line.
  • Contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Our team of engineers and technicians operate hi-tech automation equipment under globally recognized medical and aerospace certifications to produce electronic products and create customer satisfaction. Due to several new manufacturing contracts coming on-line in the near future, we are seeking exceptional people to join our production team. All roles will be offered on a casual full-time basis for 12 months with the view to permanency for the right candidate.
