Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics.
• Hands-on experience with soldering, multimeter and oscilloscope; basic circuit analysis.
• Available to work on-site in Australia and commit to the internship period.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, solder, and prototype PCBs (SMD & THT) under engineer supervision; support build iterations.
• Execute test plans using oscilloscope, multimeter, power supplies and logic analyzers; capture and document results.
• Assist with schematic updates, BOM maintenance and basic PCB layout tasks in Altium or Eagle.
• Collect, analyse and present experimental data; create concise test reports and defect logs for engineers.
• Troubleshoot circuit faults, perform root-cause analysis and propose corrective actions for prototypes.
• Maintain lab equipment, enforce safety procedures and manage component inventory for prototyping runs.

About The Opportunity

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• Available to work on-site in Australia and able to commit to the internship period.

Preferred

• Familiarity with Altium Designer or Eagle for schematic/BOM updates and basic PCB edits.
• Experience with embedded C or microcontroller projects (ARM/AVR/ESP families).
• Previous internship or academic project work involving prototyping, testing, or lab-based R&D.
