Emergence Quantum is seeking a researcher to expand electromagnetic simulation efforts for cryogenic devices and their packaging. You will use finite-element and lumped-element methods to study microwave and RF fields in amplifiers, qubits, and related packaging.
Collaborate with a team to design experiments, optimize chip-level crosstalk, packaging, microwave hygiene, and signal integrity, then undertake basic measurements and device characterization in a dynamic quantum tech environment.
Quantum control is at a point where we need a detailed understanding of all aspects of a measurement. To this end, we are looking to expand our electromagnetic simulation efforts across a range of low-temperature devices and their associated packaging. The role will use finite-element and lumped-element methods to investigate microwave and rf-regime fields across devices like amplifiers, superconducting devices, qubit chips, and their associated packaging.
