Job summary

Epiroc seeks an Electrification Technician based in Perth, WA, or Orange, NSW, to lead electrical infrastructure projects across electrified mining platforms in APAC. You will support field reliability, diagnostics, and project delivery while ensuring safety and compliance with AS/IEC standards.

You are a hands-on professional with HV qualifications, willing to travel regionally and internationally, and able to collaborate with customers and internal teams to advance electrification technology.

Qualifications

• HV electrical qualification with unrestricted licence is required.
• Experience with HV mobile equipment in mining or heavy industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of AS and IEC standards and electrical safety regulations.
• Refrigeration experience (automotive or similar) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mine and tunnel electrical infrastructure, chargers, LV/HV BEVs, and hybrid-electric platforms.
• Support electrification projects, new product introductions, and electric conversions.
• Deliver expert field support for diagnostics, tooling, safety, air conditioning, and training.
• Ensure compliance with AS/IEC standards and DG handling safety requirements.
• Act as key technical contact for customers and support APAC regional projects.
