Job summary

Randstad is assisting with a permanent electrical fitter role in Mount Isa, Queensland. The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plant electrical systems in line with Australian standards, with emphasis on fault finding and safety.

On-site work comprises 12-hour shifts in an outback mining environment. Applicants must hold a current QLD Electrical Licence (A Grade), a White Card, and a valid driver’s licence, with proven experience in commercial/industrial electrical work and

Qualifications

• Current QLD Electrical Licence (A Grade) is required.
• White Card (Construction Induction) is required.
• Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with Australian standards.
• Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Complete job documentation and reports as required.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent position in the highly sought-after mining sector. We willFitters are involved with the maintenance, repairs, installation, and component changing of plant equipment. Shift: 12 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
