Job summary

Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will perform electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding across facilities, ensuring safety, compliance and timely support for upgrades and manufacturing activities.

Eligible applicants must hold Certificate III in Electrotechnology, an unrestricted electrical licence and White Card, with a current driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent qualification.
• Current unrestricted electrical licence relevant to the role.
• Current driver's licence and White Card or ability to obtain one.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, fault finding and repair across facilities.
• Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults and breakdowns in a timely and safe manner.
• Install, maintain and repair electrical infrastructure including lighting, power outlets, switchboards, cabling and emergency lighting.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical assets, inspections and repairs.
• Ensure all work complies with legislation, regulations, standards, permits and procedures.
