Thomas Electrical & Solar is seeking experienced Solar PV & Battery Electricians to join our renewable energy team on the Gold Coast and Brisbane area. You will install, commission and maintain solar PV and battery energy storage systems across residential and commercial projects.

Qualified electricians with QLD licence and Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) are essential. Subcontractors welcome, with consistent ongoing work and competitive rates.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with current QLD electrical licence
• Current Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) accreditation – essential
• Proven solar PV and battery installation experience
• Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards and compliance requirements
• Experience commissioning solar inverters and battery storage systems
• Strong fault-finding and testing skills
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Current manual driver's licence
• Current White Card
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work as part of a team

Thomas Electrical & Solar is seeking experienced Solar PV & Battery Electricians to join our growing renewable energy team.

We're open to both full-time employees and experienced subcontractors looking for consistent, ongoing work across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern NSW.

You’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of solar PV and battery energy storage systems across residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Residential and commercial solar PV installations
• Battery energy storage system (BESS) installations
• Solar inverter and battery commissioning
• Switchboard and associated electrical works
• Testing, fault-finding and system optimisation
• Ensuring installations comply with SAA requirements and Australian Standards
• Completing required installation and compliance documentation
