Zusammenfassung

GDP Group is seeking a trade qualified Electrician to join our BMU service division in Melbourne to perform maintenance, inspections and upgrades on Building Maintenance Units across the Melbourne CBD. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and support continuous improvement with production teams.

The role requires autonomous work, a valid Licence, a White Card, and OH&S knowledge. GDP can arrange Working at Heights and offers a vehicle, phone allowance and above award remuneration.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualified Electrician with a valid electrical licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills for electrical systems.
• Experience with building maintenance equipment is a plus.

About the Role

We are seekinga trade qualified Electrician to join our BMU service division in Melbourne to carry out a variety of specialised maintenance inspections, repairs and modifications, installs & upgrades on BMU’s (Building Maintenance Units) throughout the Melbourne CBD.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults

Perform breakdown repairs to minimise downtime

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth operations

About You

Drivers Licence

Clean police record

General Construction Induction (White Card)

Working at Heights (GDP can organise if not)

Good mechanical Aptitude

In depth understanding of OH&S regulations

Ability to work autonomously
