Amida Group is seeking an experienced BMU Service Technician / Electrician in Sydney to service, repair, upgrade and maintain Building Maintenance Units across prominent commercial buildings. You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance and implement long-term, safe solutions to improve reliability.

This hands-on technical role requires strong electrical knowledge, PLC programming experience, and the ability to work independently within a small team while upholding safety and customer

Qualifications

• Previous experience in service and maintenance roles.
• Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

• Comfortable working at heights.
• Strong understanding of WHS regulations and procedures.

• Technically competent with a practical, hands-on approach.

• Physically fit and capable of performing the role.
• Australian Driver's Licence.

Join the BMU Division servicing, repairing and maintaining Building Maintenance Units across Sydney, troubleshooting complex electrical issues and delivering safe, reliable and best-practice solutions for prominent commercial buildings.

Our client is an established player in the maintenance and construction industry who are known for their high-quality building services including remedial, construction, maintenance, life services and height safety services. They are now seeking an experienced BMU Service Technician / Electrician

to join their growing Sydney operations.

This role will involve servicing, repairing, upgrading, modifying and replacing Building Maintenance Units (BMUs), undertaking planned maintenance activities, troubleshooting and resolving breakdowns, and implementing best-practice long-term solutions to improve reliability.

The successful candidate will be recognised as a technical subject matter expert, using their specialised knowledge and previous experience to determine the most appropriate methods and procedures for different work situations. You will work across a range of equipment, tools, materials and systems while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and customer service.

This is a hands-on technical role suited to an experienced Electrician who is confident with fault finding and diagnostics, can work independently within a small team, and has a strong understanding of electrical systems and PLC programming.

$90,000 – $120,000 per year

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience in service and maintenance roles
