Asset Inspect in Sydney is seeking a licensed electrician for a dual role as Switchboard Thermographer and Property Risk Consultant.

You will conduct site visits to commercial, industrial, and residential properties, perform thermal scans of electrical switchboards, and document findings in high-quality reports.

Qualifications

About the Role:

A mobile role with a difference – an exceptional opportunity for licensed electricians looking for a new challenge.

As a Sydney-based Property Risk Consultant & Thermographer, servicing clients nationally, this dual role will see you:

Conduct site visits every day, across a broad range of commercial and industrial properties – no two days are the same. You will play a crucial role in assessing and mitigating property risk for clients, documenting on-site findings, data and photographic evidence in high-quality reports.

Conduct thermal scans of electrical switchboards across a broad range of commercial, industrial and residential properties. You will be instrumental in providing thermographic reports and delivering key risk mitigation recommendations to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct building inspections and thermal scans of electrical switchboards of commercial and industrial properties


• Prepare detailed property risk survey reports from site visits, documenting building construction details, existing fire safety systems, and potential risk hazards, along with recommendations for risk improvement


• Prepare comprehensive Electrical Switchboard Thermography Reports, including findings, analysis, thermographic imagery and recommendations for risk improvement


• Current Australian Electrical Licence and experience working with electrical switchboards


• Valid Australian driver's licence


• Ability to travel extensively, regionally and interstate


• IT proficiency and eagerness to learn new software


• Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or permanent residency status


• Ability to pass a National Police Check
