Job summary

Mounties seeks a Permanent Full Time Electrician to service our sites across Western Sydney, Northern Beaches and Central Coast. You will handle electrical trade and maintenance in accordance with our standards.

You will inspect systems, plan layouts, operate safely, maintain licences, and provide cost estimates. A current Electrical License and WHS White Card are essential, with high risk licence desirable.

Qualifications

• Electrical licence is required.
• Construction Induction Card (WHS White Card) is required.
• Must hold a current driver’s licence and be able to travel to venues.
• Ability to work flexible hours is expected.
• Working Safely at Heights certification is preferred.
• High Risk Licence (over 11m) is desirable.
• Elevated Work Platform (under 11m) is desirable.
• Confined Space certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components for hazards and defects.
• Advise management on hazardous operation of equipment.
• Test wiring and circuits for safety and compatibility.
• Maintain current licences to meet regulations.
• Plan layout and installation of wiring per specs and codes.
• Prepare sketches or follow plans for wiring locations.
• Utilise tools, power construction equipment and testing devices.
• Maintain records and files as part of business management duties.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install or repair wiring.
• Construct and fabricate parts to specifications.
• Perform physically demanding tasks and move heavy objects.
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
• Be safety aware and compliant in all areas.
