Job summary

SCEE Electrical are seeking an Electrician for a Kalgoorlie-based construction project on a 2/1 roster. You will replace MCC and transformer in an active plant, install a new emergency generator system, remove obsolete equipment, and install power and control cabling across the plant.

To succeed, you will hold an unrestricted WA Electrical Licence (A Class), Construction White Card, and a current Police clearance, with experience in mining or Brownfield projects and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence (A Class)
• Construction White Card
• Police clearance current or ability to obtain
• CPR/LVR certificate (within 12 months preferred)
• Working at Heights within 2 years
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence

Responsibilities

• Replace the existing MCC and transformer within an operational plant environment.
• Install and commission a new emergency generator system, including all associated electrical infrastructure.
• Remove redundant motor feeder cabling and decommission obsolete electrical equipment.
• Install, terminate, test, and commission new power and control cabling throughout the existing plant.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will bring proven experience as an Electrician with an unrestricted WA Electrical Licence and National Police Clearance. You will have previous experience working in mining, industrial or Brownfield Plant projects. You’ll be safety focused, reliable and efficient with a can-do attitude.

You will also be able to demonstrate the following:

• Current WA A Class Electrical licence
• Construction White Card
• Police clearance current within 12 months or ability to get one
• High Risk EWP
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence
• CPR/LVR Certificate (issued within the last 12 months) desired
• Working at Heights (within 2 years) desired
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a high functioning team
• A high level of commitment to safety
