Job summary

Blacktown Workers Club Group is seeking a qualified Electrician to join the Facilities & Maintenance team. The role involves hands-on electrical maintenance, fault finding, and supporting day-to-day electrical requirements across a busy hospitality and sporting venue.

The successful candidate will hold a current NSW Electrical Licence with relevant electrical trade qualifications, have experience in commercial or property maintenance, and be flexible to a Monday–Friday roster with potential

• Experience in preventative and reactive maintenance in commercial/hospitality facilities

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, fault finding and troubleshooting across the venue.
• Complete preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and breakdowns.
• Maintain electrical and lighting systems, plant, equipment and building services.
• Assist with electrical upgrades, projects and new installations.
• Work with and coordinate external contractors and trades when required.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with relevant legislation, standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation and maintenance reports.
• Respond to urgent electrical and maintenance issues when required.
• Work closely with Operations and other departments to minimise disruption to members, guests and the team.
• Support broader facilities and maintenance activities as required.

Workers Lifestyle Group is looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our Facilities & Maintenance team, supporting the day-to-day electrical requirements of a busy Hospitality and Sporting Group.

This new hands-on role suited to a licensed electrician with commercial or property maintenance experience who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working in a fast-paced environment.

About The Role

About You

• We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
• Current NSW Electrical Licence and relevant electrical trade qualifications.
• Current NSW drivers' licence
• Highly desirable licenses and awareness competencies- EWP, confined space, working at heights, first aid & low voltage rescue.
• Previous experience in commercial, property, facilities or hospitality maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Experience working with contractors and other trades is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy operational environment.
• Flexibility to work a Monday to Friday roster, including a half-day Friday, and attend to urgent maintenance requirements, including occasional weekend work and on-call duties as required.
