Job summary

Downer is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our permanent workforce at Randwick Barracks, delivering reliable electrical maintenance and inspection across the base while upholding safety, quality, and Defence standards for our clients. You’ll work as part of a high‑performing team, collaborate with other trades, and contribute to the ongoing reliability of critical infrastructure.

To apply, you should hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, a NSW Electrical Licence, Electrical Testing

Qualifications

• Must have Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• Must have NSW Electrical Licence
• Electrical Testing and Tagging Certificate preferred
• White Card required
• Current Open Driver's Licence preferred and Defence clearance eligibility mandatory

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical maintenance, repair and inspection tasks across the base
• Deliver high quality trade services and maintain WHS/environmental compliance
• Collaborate with other trades and service providers to support PAS delivery
• Improve longevity of fixed plant and equipment
• Maintain clear professional communication regarding works and outcomes
