Job summary

Saputo Dairy Australia is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our Maintenance Team at the Kiewa site. In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our production equipment operating safely and reliably through planned maintenance, breakdown response, fault-finding and continuous improvement.

You will work alongside our maintenance colleagues, complete records in SAP, and have opportunities for further trade qualification; applicants must have full Australian working rights and be able to work a

Qualifications

• Current electrical licence with fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environments preferred.
• Able to work independently and manage priorities.
• Willing to work rotating roster and 24/7 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned and preventative electrical maintenance across production equipment.
• Diagnose electrical faults and respond to equipment breakdowns.
• Undertake problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete maintenance records and work confirmations through SAP.
• Work closely with Mechanical Fitters, production and the wider maintenance team.

In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our production equipment operating safely and reliably through planned maintenance, breakdown response, fault-finding and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete planned and preventative electrical maintenance across production equipment
• Diagnose electrical faults and respond to equipment breakdowns
• Undertake problem-solving and root cause analysis
• Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
• Complete maintenance records and work confirmations through SAP
• Work closely with Mechanical Fitters, production and the wider maintenance team

Skills & Experience:

• Current electrical licence with strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG or an industrial environment is highly regarded
• Automation, instrumentation, refrigeration, mechanical or dual-trade experience is advantageous
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and make sound decisions
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and continuous improvement
• Comfortable working across a rotating roster supporting our 24/7 operation
