Baiada is seeking a Qualified Electrician to support the team located in Beresfield.

About the Role

You will play a vital part in ensuring optimal production efficiency and smooth plant operations within the Electrical team.

• Minimising downtime and ensuring equipment is operating efficiently.
• Identifying opportunities for plant improvements and automation.
• Managing project work, including the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Interpret technical drawings.
• Performing manual soldering/desoldering – electrical/electronic components
• Performing breakdown repairs and troubleshooting plant issues.
• Conducting routine preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment.

About You

Contributing to a dynamic team where every day brings new challenges and rewarding opportunities, you will bring:

• An Australian Electrical Trade qualification along with experience in the manufacturing industry.
• FMCG industry experience is preferred however not essential.
• Knowledge and experience with PLC systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
