Job summary

Adecco is seeking qualified Electrical Maintainers/Electricians for upcoming opportunities in Newport, Victoria, to support transportation infrastructure projects including high‑speed trains, metros and trams. Read electrical schematics, perform assembly, maintenance and fault finding, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

A Grade electrician license and Certificate III in Electrotechnology are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Certification or certificate III in Electrotechnology or similar.
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and drawings accurately.
• A grade electrician license is mandatory for this role.
• High-risk tickets (e.g., EWP or working at heights) are advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics to ensure accurate task execution.
• Engage in assembly, maintenance and fault finding tasks.
• Collaborate with support functions to identify improvement opportunities.
• Communicate effectively with the Production Supervisor and team.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role wouldsupport the execution of modifications on the V/Line Fleet.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Read and interpretelectrical schematics to ensure accurate execution of tasks
• Engage in a variety oftasks, including assembly, maintenance and fault finding
• Collaborate with supportfunctions to identify and propose suggestions for continuous improvement
• High level communicationsand interpersonal skills
• Apply high level problemsolving skills to address challenges and enhance operations

Your Profile

• Possess 3-5+ years of experience in a relevant field, ideallywithin a manufacturing environment
• Certification or certificate III in Electrotechnology orsimilar.
• Demonstrate the ability to interpret technical diagrams anddrawings accurately
• A grade electrician license is mandatory for this role
• High-risk tickets or licenses, such as EWP or working atheights, are advantageous but not mandatory
