Job summary

Intellergy is growing in the Dubbo area and we’re looking for qualified Electricians to join our field teams delivering meter exchange and rectification works across Dubbo and surrounding Central West NSW communities. If you take pride in safe, high-quality field work and want consistent program-based work close to regional NSW communities, this is your opportunity.

You’ll be trained and authorised to work autonomously and as part of a field team, carrying out metering and rectification tasks

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Licence and a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
• White Card, CPR/LVR, and a valid Driver’s Licence.
• Metering experience or Level 2 ASP experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Install and replace smart meters and related switchboard equipment.
• Complete meter exchange works across residential and commercial sites.
• Identify, report, and complete minor rectification works to support safe metering outcomes.
• Test, commission, and document completed works accurately.
• Work safely around switchboards, service equipment, and customer premises.
• Communicate professionally with customers, schedulers, supervisors and client representatives.
• Travelling within Dubbo, Wellington, Narromine, Gilgandra, Parkes, Forbes, Orange, and surrounding Central West NSW locations as required.

Intellergy is growing in the Dubbo area, and we’re looking for qualified Electricians to join our field teams delivering meter exchange and rectification works across Dubbo and surrounding Central West NSW communities. If you take pride in safe, high-quality field work and want consistent program-based work close to regional NSW communities, this is your opportunity.

You’ll join a skilled and supportive team delivering metering works for major clients, including smart meter exchanges, defect rectifications, testing, commissioning, and customer-facing field activities. Previous metering experience is highly regarded, but licensed electricians with the right attitude, safety focus, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

About the Role

You’ll be trained and authorised to work autonomously and as part of a field team, carrying out metering and rectification tasks across Dubbo and surrounding areas, including:

• Installing and replacing smart meters and associated switchboard equipment
• Completing meter exchange works across residential and commercial sites
• Identifying, reporting, and completing minor rectification works to support safe metering outcomes
• Testing, commissioning, and recording completed works accurately
• Working safely around switchboards, service equipment, and customer premises
• Communicating professionally with customers, schedulers, supervisors, and client representatives
• Travelling within Dubbo, Wellington, Narromine, Gilgandra, Parkes, Forbes, Orange, and surrounding Central West NSW locations as required

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for capable, safety-focused electricians who can work independently in the field and bring the following:

• NSW Electrical Licence
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, or equivalent
• White Card, CPR/LVR, and valid Driver’s Licence
• Metering experience, Level 2 ASP experience, or smart meter exchange experience highly regarded
• Strong understanding of electrical safety, compliance, testing, and customer site requirements
• Good communication, problem-solving skills, and reliability
• Ability to work safely and professionally across homes, businesses, and field environments
