Job summary

HVACR Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems for HVAC and refrigeration across various commercial sites. You will diagnose faults, work on motor controls and switchgear, and complete detailed job records. A current Queensland electrical licence and a valid drivers licence are essential.

You’ll be supported by our service management team and enjoy a fully maintained company vehicle and a 40-hour week with accrued RDOs.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland electrical licence
• Minimum 2 years as a qualified electrician
• Hands-on mechanical-electrical experience
• Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently

Job description

Earn $55–$60 per hour working on the electrical systems behind commercial air conditioning and refrigeration. You’ll handle installations, fault-finding and repairs across hospitals, hotels, pubs, clubs and schools, working alongside our refrigeration and air conditioning technicians.

You’ll have a fully maintained company vehicle, a 40-hour working week with accrued RDOs, and support from our service management and coordination team.

Key responsibilities

• Electrical installation, maintenance and repairs associated with HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Fault-finding on mechanical electrical systems, controls and associated wiring
• Working with motors, contactors, relays, control circuits and switchboards
• Testing, commissioning and completing accurate job records
• General commercial electrical work

About you

• A current Queensland electrical work licence
• At least two years' as a qualified electrician
• Hands-on mechanical electrical experience
• Strong fault-finding skills and the ability to work independently
• A current driver's licence
• A practical approach, reliable work habits and professional communication with clients and colleagues
