Job summary

Fire Watch Safety Results Group (FWSR Group) in Bendigo/Ballarat seeks an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our team and deliver dry fire systems across Victoria. You will work across hospitals, schools and commercial sites while mentoring apprentices.

You will interpret drawings, uphold safety and quality, and collaborate with sprinkler fitters, plumbers and fire technicians on diverse projects. A strong team focus and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (VIC) is essential.
• Experience in fire systems installation or commercial/industrial electrical work.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork.
• Willingness to obtain Police and Working with Children checks.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our growing Bendigo / Ballarat team. You'll be working across a variety of dry fire installation projects throughout Victoria - from hospitals and schools to commercial and industrial sites.

You’ll be part of a skilled, multi-disciplinary team including sprinkler fitters, plumbers, diesel mechanics and fire technicians, delivering quality installations and mentoring the next generation of tradespeople.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing and commissioning dry fire systems, emergency lighting and related electrical works
• Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to complete installations to a high standard
• Collaborating across trades on multi-disciplinary fire protection projects
• Mentoring apprentices and junior staff, sharing your knowledge and experience
• Travelling to project sites across regional Victoria, with generous overnight allowances provided

What You'll Bring

• Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (VIC) - essential

• A strong focus on safety, quality and teamwork
• Current White Card and Driver's Licence
