Job summary

Macleay Air and Electrical in Kempsey is seeking a qualified electrician to lead residential, commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will supervise on-site teams, plan schedules, ensure safety compliance, and mentor apprentices, with flexible work arrangements and ongoing training.

Certificate III in Electrotechnology and a strong team culture are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician required.
• Experience as a team player contributing to a positive work culture and ability to work autonomously.
• Residential and commercial electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of technicians on residential, commercial, and industrial electrical jobs.
• Coordinate daily job schedules and ensure timely, high-quality task completion.
• Provide on-site supervision and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members to manage expectations.
• Assist with planning, quoting and ordering materials for upcoming projects.
• Mentor apprentices and junior staff to build skills and maintain team culture.
• Report progress, variations and issues to management.
