Job summary

CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy are seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to join our Technical Training Team. The role is full-time and permanent, focusing on delivering training for frontline Field Services and supporting apprentices and professionals.

You will design programs, assess competencies, collaborate with providers, and ensure training quality. A strong electrical trade background and training qualifications are essential, with travel across our network required.

Qualifications

• Trade certified with relevant distribution experience in electricity.
• TAE qualification or equivalent required for training roles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver initial and refresher training programs for Field Services.
• Assess competency and support apprentice development.
• Coordinate with external providers and internal stakeholders to maintain high training standards.
• Design learning resources and training materials aligned with industry practices.
• Lead training projects and ensure timely completion of work plans.
