Job summary

Bendigo Kangan Institute in North Melbourne seeks a Program Lead to oversee design, delivery, quality and improvement of Electrical Trades programs, while guiding teachers to strong learner outcomes.

Based onsite five days a week, you will manage staff, scheduling, compliance, stakeholder relationships, and growth opportunities across the Electrical Campus, with a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of vocational education, training, or industry teams.
• AQF5+ qualification in VET or higher.
• Experience managing teachers or delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a growing team of electrical educators.
• Build and maintain partnerships with employers and industry bodies.
• Ensure high-quality program delivery and compliance with VET requirements.
• Support workforce planning, teacher allocation, and class scheduling.
• Monitor student outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to teaching activities when required.
• Identify growth opportunities and support program expansion.
