Job summary

Service Stream is seeking an Electrical Technician for its Transport Infrastructure team based in Eastern Creek, NSW. The role involves maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and system improvements across critical transport networks, with on-call responsibilities and a permanent full-time position.

Ideal candidates will hold an Electrical Licence and a valid Driver’s Licence, with field service experience and a safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• A current Electrical Licence.
• A current and valid Driver’s Licence.
• Previous field service experience, ideally within an electrical or electronics environment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• A commitment to workplace safety and quality outcomes.
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine, scheduled, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities
• Diagnose, repair, and service electrical and electronic assets across transport networks
• Perform electrical works and equipment upgrades
• Maintain revenue and control systems
• Record maintenance activities and service outcomes within asset management systems
• Assist with system improvements and infrastructure upgrades
• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-starts, and risk assessments
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and legislative requirements
• Contribute to delivering high levels of service and customer satisfaction
• Participate in a 24-hour on-call roster outside standard business hours
