Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician for our Scoresby, VIC manufacturing site. This role focuses on the manufacturing and assembly of generator sets within a busy production environment.

You will operate manual and automated equipment, perform quality inspections, and ensure production targets are met. The job requires an electrical license in Victoria, a forklift license, and a careful, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Current Electrical License valid in Victoria.
• Manufacturing experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Forklift license LF.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a repetitive process environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to meet customer specifications, quality standards and production requirements.
• Performs quality inspections, identifies non-conforming materials and follows processes to ensure product quality.
• Works to defined production targets, cycle times and engineering standards to achieve operational goals.
• Completes routine housekeeping, machine cleaning and planned operator care activities to maintain a safe and efficient work area.
• Uses hand tools and performs mechanical or electrical assembly tasks as required.
• Collaborates with peers, skilled trades and support teams to identify equipment issues and support timely repairs.
