You will independently manage your time on site, perform fault-finding, and complete certificates of compliance where required.

Formación

• Fully qualified electrical tradesperson.
• Current WA Electrician's Licence (EW).
• Valid driver's licence.
• AC licencing and experience is highly desired.
• Extensive residential and light commercial electrical experience.
• Strong fault-finding capability on complex installations.
• Ability to work independently and manage own time on site.

Responsabilidades

• Complete residential and light commercial electrical installations, alterations, repairs, and fault-finding to specification and high workmanship.
• Deliver work in compliance with AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules, WA standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete the Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) for applicable jobs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite at all times.
• Mentor apprentices and tradespeople on the job.
• Represent Response Electricians professionally in appearance, communication, and conduct.
• Conduct a site safety assessment before starting each job and identify hazards.
• Adhere to safe work practices and WHS obligations.
• Complete and submit job invoices accurately.

The Senior Technician is an experienced hands-on field role within the Response Electricians operations team. The position delivers residential and light commercial electrical work to the highest standard of quality, safety, and customer experience, and brings senior judgement to complex fault-finding and difficult jobs. As a senior member of the field team, this role also lifts the capability of the people around it. The Senior Technician mentors apprentices and tradespeople on the job and acts as a technical resource for the crew. This is a contribution role, not a management one. The Senior Technician carries no direct reports and is not responsible for supervision, rostering, or team administration.

Key responsibilities

Complete residential and light commercial electrical installations, alterations, repairs, and fault-finding to specification and a high standard of workmanship

Deliver all work in full compliance with AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules, Western Power standards, and applicable WA regulatory requirements

Complete the Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW) accurately for every applicable job and submit to the office on completion

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite throughout the job

Act as a go-to resource for complex fault-finding and difficult installations across the field team

Mentor and coach apprentices and tradespeople on the job, passing on technique and standards

Represent Response Electricians professionally at all times in appearance, communication, and conduct

Conduct a site safety assessment before commencing every job and identify and manage hazards proactively

Adhere to all safe work practices, WHS obligations, and company safety procedures at all times

Complete and submit job invoices accurately, capturing all labour hours, materials, and approved variations

About you

Fully qualified electrical tradesperson

Current WA Electrician's Licence (EW), held individually

Valid driver's licence

AC licencing and experience is highly desired

Extensive experience across residential and commercial electrical works

Strong fault-finding capability on complex installations

Ability to work independently, manage own time on site, and see jobs through from start to completion

Clear communication with customers and the office team

Takes full ownership of the quality and outcome of every job

High attention to detail and genuine pride in workmanship

Calm under pressure and problem-solves on site without losing composure
