Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsperson/Designer to design and draft LV, MV, and HV electrical systems and switchboards. You will create single-line diagrams, schematics, and construction documents, while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and client specifications.

You will work with engineers, project managers, and clients through concept to project completion, providing technical support during manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical drafting and design.
• Experience with LV, MV, HV power systems.
• Ability to prepare detailed electrical drawings and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical designs and drawings for LV, MV, HV systems and switchboards.
• Develop single-line diagrams, schematics, general arrangements and construction docs.
• Manage project documentation and revision control.
• Ensure designs comply with Australian Standards and client specs.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and clients on design solutions.
• Liaise with clients on design reviews and approvals.
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Conduct design reviews and inspections for project adherence.
• Identify and resolve design issues through troubleshooting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
