Job summary

Nu-Phase is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor (S26) to lead a crew on a recently opened BHP mine site in the Pilbara. You will fly from Perth, oversee electrical infrastructure from start-up to continuous operation, and serve as the safety and standards focal point on site.

You’ll manage a tight team of sparkies and apprentices, drive compliance, and coordinate with BHP reps and the principal contractor.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA Electrical Worker's Licence (EW Licence).
• S26 approval, or eligible to be nominated.
• Proven mining site experience (Tier 1 or BHP sites a big plus).
• Experience with transportables, temporary power and laydown setups is highly regarded.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A test.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a tight crew of sparky electricians and apprentices.
• Act as the nominated Electrical Supervisor for Nu-Phase works on site.
• Run safety on site: isolation work, permits, risk assessments and compliance.
• Complete daily site reports and documentation.
• Liaise with client reps (BHP) and the principal contractor as main contact.

Electrical Supervisor (S26) – FIFO Pilbara

About the role

We’re after an experienced Electrical Supervisor (S26) to lead our crew on a recently opened BHP mine site in the Pilbara. This is a ground-floor opportunity: you’ll help build the site’s electrical infrastructure from the start, and then keep it running. You’ll fly from Perth and be the go-to person for safety, standards and getting the job done right.

Want more hours? On your weeks off, you can pick up paid work in Perth on our commercial, supermarket and switchboard projects. It’s your choice, with no pressure.

What you’ll be working on

• Setting up new transportable buildings and laydown areas, including offices, crib rooms, ablutions and temporary power
• Installing electrical equipment across the site as it grows
• Ad hoc service and maintenance, from fault-finding and breakdowns to whatever the site throws at you
• Monthly test and tag, plus RCD testing where required
• Liaising with the client: you’ll be the main contact for BHP reps and the principal contractor
