Job Skills Network is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead field operations in Gladstone, QLD. You will direct electricians and apprentices, allocate resources, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to high standards.

The role offers Monday–Friday work with early Friday finishes, a potential 4-day week for the right candidate, and long-term career opportunities within a growing local business.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualifications and a current Electrical Licence.
• Leadership, supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident to lead teams and hold people accountable.
• Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical operations and project delivery.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of job performance and productivity.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, teams or work crews.
• Hands-on leadership style.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of electricians and apprentices.
• Plan and allocate labour and resources across multiple jobs.
• Monitor job progress to keep projects on track.
• Manage workflow from start to finish and close-out.
• Drive accountability, productivity and performance.
• Monitor KPIs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance.
• Mentor apprentices and develop team members.
• Serve as the operational contact for field issues.
