Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our projects team across major long-term mining developments in Australia. You will report to the Construction Manager and supervise site personnel, ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance on site.

The role involves planning, problem-solving, safety leadership, and close collaboration with project teams to maintain schedules and budgets while delivering high-quality electrical works on

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade certificate is required.
• Electrical Licences must be state-appropriate.
• White Card is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as Electrical Supervisor in mineral process plant construction.
• S26 Statutory Supervisor Training is required.
• Current First Aid certificate with CPR & LVR.
• Current Drivers Licence is required.
• Current National Police clearance within 6 months.
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screen.
• Full and unrestricted Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe work practices and ensure personnel are trained and conform to HSE standards.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Supervise workmanship and assess quality.
• Oversee construction to comply with GRES standards.
• Lead by example in Safe Work Practices and behaviour.
• Conduct daily pre-start meetings.
• Hold safety toolbox talks.
• Assist hazard identification and risk controls per client assessment.
• Lead incident notification, investigation and reporting.
• Train and assess competence of staff where applicable.
• Ensure site personnel comply with quality and environmental requirements.
• Monitor activities to minimise pollution and environmental impact.
