Qualifications

  • Experience supervising electrical works within mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, electrical regulations and mining safety legislation.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics and single-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electrical crews & subcontractors, planning and prioritising daily activities to meet project schedules.
  • Allocate resources & materials, monitor productivity and ensure efficient execution of work.
  • Work closely with civil, structural, mechanical, piping, instrumentation, commissioning and operations teams to resolve interfaces and prevent clashes.
  • Review and interpret drawings, cable schedules, termination details, equipment layouts, specifications and vendor documentation.
  • Ensure electrical installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements and applicable standards.
  • Ensure all defect rectification works are completed in accordance with project quality requirements.
  • Liaise with project management, engineering, commissioning and operations personnel to resolve technical issues.
  • Monitor compliance with site safety procedures, permits and statutory regulations, promoting a safety-focused culture.
  • Identify and manage risks while implementing corrective actions where required.

Job description

PARC Engineering is hiring Electrical Supervisors for a range of positions across both projects and upcoming shutdowns. We have a variety of work fronts requiring strong expertise in construction, instrumentation, maintenance & commissioning. Whether you are looking for an ongoing full-time project or short-term casual work, immediate start or future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise electrical crews & subcontractors, planning and prioritising daily activities to meet project schedules.
