Job summary

ACLE SERVICES PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee electrical operations for solar projects on site in Tocumwal, NSW. This contract role focuses on safety, quality, and timely delivery, with supervision of electricians and apprentices to ensure project success.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with managers and clients, and ensure compliance with Australian standards and WH&S requirements.

Qualifications

• Current A-Grade or B-Grade Electrical License (or equivalent)
• Minimum 5+ years in electrical trades with supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards (AS/NZS 3000 etc.)
• WH&S requirements and safe work practices understanding
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical documentation
• Experience supervising multiple projects and leading teams

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical work on site per project specs and timelines
• Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks on site safety
• Inspect electrical installations for compliance with standards
• Manage workforce scheduling, training and performance

Job description

ACLE SERVICES PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Tocumwal, NSW, this role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and oversee electrical operations for solar projects on site, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. As Electrical Supervisor, you will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence whilst supporting our team to deliver quality electrical services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate electrical work activities on site, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with project specifications and timelines
• Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox talks to ensure all team members understand site safety requirements and protocols
• Inspect electrical installations and maintenance work to verify compliance with Australian electrical standards and regulations
• Manage workforce scheduling, training and performance to maintain productivity and quality standards
• Liaise with project managers, clients and other contractors to ensure smooth coordination and communication
• Identify and resolve operational challenges, including equipment issues and resource constraints
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, safety incidents and site documentation
• Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WH&S) legislation and company policies at all times
• Mentor and coach junior electricians and apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge

What we are looking for

• A current A-Grade or B-Grade Electrical License (or equivalent) demonstrating advanced electrical competency
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the electrical trades, with proven supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008 and relevant regulations)
• Demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety (WH&S) requirements and best practice safety procedures
• Competency in reading electrical drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Experience supervising teams and managing multiple electrical projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff
• Problem-solving capabilities and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• A commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel if required
• Desirable: Experience with renewable energy installations, industrial electrical work or large-scale commercial projects
