Job summary

SKS Technologies in Queensland is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead site electrical teams on major commercial projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will coordinate daily site activities, mentor electricians and apprentices, read and interpret drawings, comply with Australian Standards and WHS requirements, and drive productivity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Current Queensland Electrical Licence.
  • Current White Card.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising electrical teams on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, electrical regulations and safe work practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • A commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong planning and time management skills.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working at Heights, EWP or other relevant high-risk licences.
  • Experience delivering projects within data centres, health, education, defence, government or major commercial environments.

  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve site issues.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment and resources to maintain project schedules.
  • Liaise with Project Managers, clients, consultants and other trades to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Complete site documentation, quality inspections and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure works are completed to the highest standard while meeting programme and budget expectations.
  • Drive productivity, accountability and continuous improvement across the site team.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and supervising site-based electrical teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll coordinate daily site activities, mentor electricians and apprentices, and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

About You

We're looking for an experienced electrical supervisor who enjoys leading people and delivering successful projects.

You will have:

Current Queensland Electrical Licence.

Current White Card.

Current Driver's Licence.

Demonstrated experience supervising electrical teams on commercial construction projects.

Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, electrical regulations and safe work practices.
