Job summary

BMD Group is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead electrical construction activities on the Palmer Wind Farm in South Australia. The role focuses on planning, coordinating and delivering electrical works with subcontractors, while ensuring safety and quality across the project.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will collaborate with civil teams and stakeholders to meet milestones and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Superintendent or similar role.
• Background delivering electrical infrastructure projects in renewables, utilities or major infrastructure.
• Strong subcontractor management and coordination capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with civil teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Knowledge of electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Relevant electrical qualifications with leadership and safety focus.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our project team on the Palmer Wind Farm in South Australia. With completion scheduled for mid-2028, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a fulltime permanent role on a landmark renewable energy project, with ongoing work available across BMD's pipeline of major infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Project Director, you’ll lead the planning, coordination and delivery of electrical construction works across the project. Working closely with specialist electrical subcontractors, the civil construction team and project stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Open to candidates:

VIC based - FIFO 10:4 roster, site allowance + LAFHA + flights + accom + car
SA based - DIDO daily or stay in accom close to site + site allowance + LAFHA + car

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Senior Electrical Supervisor or similar.
• Background delivering electrical infrastructure projects across renewables, utilities or major infrastructure.
• Strong subcontractor management and coordination capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with civil teams and multidisciplinary project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Relevant electrical qualifications with strong leadership, communication and safety focus.
